We've taken advantage of the weekend's beautiful weather - highs in the 40s! Ahhhh! No more precipitation, no more wind, no more 4 foot high pile of snow in front of my car preventing me from going anywhere!
Remember this place? Tweetsie Railroad. When I was a kid, we used to take trips with my cousins to Tweetsie. It was all fun and games until we hopped on the
Cowboys and Indians Train Ride for the first time (and my
last time until I was sucked into it two summers ago). Let's just say I cried the entire time, and made my mother switch seats with me every time an "Indian" - aka short redhead dressed up in warpaint and a terrible wig - ran past the window screaming and hurling his tomahawk towards my face!! Basically, every other second. Scarred. For. Life.
Tweetsie is all of 10 minutes from my apartment, and nestled inbetween two huge sledding hills. How convenient, right?
Let's just say I had a terrifying and somewhat painful sledding experience. My sweet boyfriend made me a snow heart to cheer me up!
We decided to play it safe for the rest of the weekend. Here are some pictures from our walk along the Greenway.
Goodnight Boone
