Ashevegas

Hello my Valentines, I hope you're having a day filled with all things mushy! Unless you don't like mushiness. Then, I hope you have a day filled with all things, uh, cold hearted? Nooo, I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. Back to the mushiness! Common, it's only one day...

How was your weekend? Mine was wonderful! Minus one little detail - my immune system sure does know how to put a damper on things. I won't go into detail about how I felt so bad, that I burst into tears while walking through the Greenhouses at Biltmore. Two bottles of Robitussin later, and I'm finally feeling back to myself. I'm glad this funk is about gone!

Now about the fun stuff! We scored free tickets to the Biltmore Estate, which is what ignited our mini vacation. My favorite highlights included: walking through the house as if we owned the place, saying "Pish Posh" as we entered a room. Discovering Bud's desire to have a "secret door" built into every wall in our future home. Also, spending 30 minutes idling around the free cheeseball and dip samples. We were hungry, don't judge!

I love artsy-towns, so of course I love Asheville. It might seem ironic that our country's largest high class home is nestled within a very prominent arts district. Downtown, you'll witness a sea of eccentric hippies, protests, graffiti, and more - the town sure does have character.

Here is a recap in pictures:

New home-owners? ;)

Through my tearful Greenhouse journey, I managed to snap a few pretty pictures!

Dessert stop! Old Europe Bistro

Can I just tell you - this made my day! Give and take a little love. It's what our world needs more of.

I took a little love - put it in my pocket, saving it for a rainy day.

Classic, awkward touristy shot!

Seriously, dude?! Did you not see me set my camera on self-timer, RUN, then JUMP up on the wall in a not-so-graceful fashion, and flash my cheesiest grin?? This picture makes me laugh.
