We spent a lot of time outside this weekend. Being inside wasn't an option without A/C.
Lots of Blue Ridge Parkway cruising.
Admired the mountain countryside - farms, fences, wildflowers, blue skies.
Explored the old general merchantile in Todd.
Played checkers on the front porch of a cute little bakery.
Trip to Linville Caverns. 50 degrees inside! I was thankful for the opportunity to wear a jacket.
Pet a horse on the side of the road (Bud).
Missed the rain.
Savory crepes and gelato date at Scoops Cafe.
Signed up for a free trial of Hulu.
Watched endless episodes of The Office. Never gets old.
Just another happy weekend in the high country :) I don't want to leave.
